Don't bother with filters, you don't need them to get started. I'd just get a bag and a memory card to start. If you're into landscapes then a tripod (don't buy a cheap one) and a remote (do buy a cheap one) are handy.

What lens are you getting?
 
get the g5 if its roughly same price but either way there both great cameras, think the g5 has a higher dpi evf and the buttons are laid out a bit better.

g3 is a bit fiddly to hold and the g5 is slightly bigger easier to hold but more bulky.

get 2 spare batterys as both aint that good on battery life
 
Also consider the Olympus versions, they tend to pack more features and be more up to date with sensors etc. main thing is the sensor based IS which is great for the small pancake primes.
