You can't upgrade your socket. Yours is socket 1155 and Z77 is the newest chipset for that socket. If you want to go itx then you need to be on the lookout for a Z77 itx board although second hand is going to be your best bet now.
To be honest I wouldn't be swapping that cpu anytime soon. You have a good motherboard so is the cpu overclocked? If not ban!!
It's easy enough to do and as long as you have a decent cooler I would expect around 4.5Ghz out of the 3770k.
If you haven't already got one a SSD will give you a nice boost. Look for at least a 240Gb one. I started off with a 120Gb ssd and filled it in no time. I swapped to a 240Gb and then added another 250Gb one just for Steam. My next will be 1Tb so I can do away with the pair of smaller ones.
£100 isn't going to get you much that's better than a 7950, even second hand. Keep your eye on our Members Market to see what pops up although I think you need to make it £150 to get a meaningful upgrade.
