They releasing a new version soon, can be downloaded ahead of release now

Possibly the most obvious point of awesome would be the Chinook but they also have the famous IDF tank in there, etc

I used to play the mod a lot, but got bored of it a few months ago. Definitely coming back when the new mod is released and being a keen transport helicopter pilot I simply can't wiat to get my hands on the Chinook!

I don't want to cause a fight, but I really would recommend Arma2 with ACE2 mod to anyone who enjoyed/enjoys PR.

I did just that since 0.9 was so CTD happy. I find ARMA2 is a better game but community seems a little bit hard to get into and not as accessible. Infact I find that Hold modes have very little teamwork compared to PR, I actually miss the squad system from BF2 series.

I have both Jestar, PR is quicker to get into I find Both have good points, arma is obviously a lot more modern.

Another thing in .91 PR is they changed the rally points to refresh every 10 mins so in theory you can join a game and the squad quite quickly.

Looking forward to PR on arma engine if they can just make it easier to start a good game

I switched to medium textures for some of the newer pr maps as it does seem to kick up problems more often with the larger maps

To be honest I barely touched PR 0.9 since it just CTDs more than 50% of the time while loading maps, does reducing textures help the problem?

Noticed PR is gearing up for a new version .92 at some point. Some very nice models these guys produce and maps

unfortunately my system isnt fast enough to run this at full settings, I didnt think 5 years ago I would be saying that

Played it for a few months when i was living BF2

Loved the team work and pace of the game, it actualy made you think about dieing rather than your average run and gun war sim game..

Might just fire up my BF2 and install this sometime this week then.

make a change from BFBC2 and TF2
