I would suggest the following laptops as they are newer and cheaper :

1: MSI GE40 2OC-024UK 14" HD LED i7 + GTX 760M. (GPU slightly slower then the Dell machines)

2. OcUK Extreme P150EM HD 7970 (GPU outperforms the Dell machine GPU's)

3. OcUK Piranha Gamer W230ST Full HD on a 13.3" frame

All of these are ideal for travel.

Alienware is aways overpriced

You can get a far more powerful Clevo for under 2/3 the price of an Alienware.

Alienware is expensive, there is no argument there, but they are good machines with fantastic build quality. I have an Alienware 17 and absolutely love it. I took the gfx upgrade and the 1080p screen and it's a beast.
