deleteing old files

I upgraded to vista and want to delete my old windows folder.
seems simple enough but for some reason I can't get rid of the last few files namely
C:\Old\Old WINDOWS\system32\Macromed\Flash\Flash9f.ocx
C:\Old\Old WINDOWS\system32\Macromed\Flash\FlashUtil9f.exe

I've tried all my normal routes :

ATTRIB -R -S -A -H "C:\Old\Old WINDOWS\system32\Macromed\Flash\*.*
icacls "C:\Old\Old WINDOWS\system32\Macromed\Flash\*" /grant AdministratorD,WDAC)

all seem to succeed but I still can't delete those two files!!

I've tried disabling UAC and running cmd as admin.
any ideas?
