when i reinstalled xp on my pc i created a 2 partitions, c and f and i put xp on c. the version wasn't "correct" so i installed another version of xp on partition f and have got that working perfectly been installing drivers software etc. Now i want to delete partition C as i no longer need it however its not letting me as its telling me that that partition has windows file on it.

so anyway i can delete this partition?

[edit]

i just had a quick look to see whats currently using the C partition using unlocker and its 3 processes of svchost.exe

ok i think im going to start again then so i can get everything how it should be.

so how would i go about doing this then as i need to get rid of the windows on partition C anyway for the other one to go there and then also windows on partition F.

what about all my programs on partition G? will they still be usable or will they no longer work as windows will be on C rather then f?

thanks

C: crappy windows
D: dvd 1
E: dvd 2
F: good windows
G: games, programs, all that stuff etc

how do i get to the installer? just putting windows disc in and then i guess changing boot priority in bios?

luckily i got a laptop so will transfer anything i need now.

thanks
