This is for a friend who wants all traces of internet history removing.

All i know is Tools>Options>Then delete all history...

How do you remove anything else that may be stored on the PC?

Such as evidence of streaming videos, i.e. Jokes/BBC sport history/"other"

Thanks

I've noticed that CCleaner doesn't remove Flash traces properly, might just be my setup.

To make sure all flash evidence is cleared add the 2 folders to it's 'Include' list:

C:\Documents and Settings\USERNAME\Application Data\Adobe

C:\Documents and Settings\USERNAME\Application Data\Macromedia

Flash uses "super cookies" which are a pain to remove for everyone. The 10.1 beta says it abides by the privacy mode but idk about general use.

The best way to deal with them currently is the betterprivacy addon but that's firefox only (very effective though).
