Deleting Apps off Iphone?

How do you do this?

Used to just press and hold the home button, but this now triggers voice control.

Settings > General > Storage and iCloud > Manage Storage

..then select app followed by 'Delete App'

Lol, that memory is a worry. Its always been a long press on the screen to allow you to remove apps. Like forever!

Wasn't long press on the button used to bring up the running apps so you could kill them off?

always been a double click hasn't it? From what I remember, long hold has always been voice control, even before Siri. my first iPhone was iPhone 4 so it may have been different for the 3/3GS
