deleting boot manager for vista

Hi i have installed vista on a separate partition but removed it as it did not work properly, however the boot manager still asks me to pick an op system
how can i get rid of this

i have tried running my xp disk to use the asr fixboot fixmbr but it won't run the recovery program

Have a look at this. Install and run under XP or Vista.
