Deleting folders on FTP

On my NTLWorld webspace whenever I delete a empty folder it just comes straight back :confused:

Anyone know how to delete them for good?
I've tried with multiple FTP clients with no sucess

What folder are you trying to delete - if it is something like cgi-bin or public_html you may find that the system is recreating it automatically.

Be sure to refresh the display afeter. Some FTP clients will cache a DIR listing.

I'm just trying to delete normal folders I created

and yeah I refresh it straight after also but they still come back :eek:

Look at the FTP transaction logs. after the point where you issue the DELE command. The server may say something useful.
