Deleting media library?

Hi all,

Wife has an iPhone and has now maxed her memory taking photos etc.

What is the best method to start over fresh on the media card? Im used to Android and normally Backup and Purge the Memory Card.

I see iPhone doesnt offer this, so can you please let me know what best practice is?

I am using Windows 8 with Itunes.

Best thing to do is plug it into computer, Import pictures into computer (i would suggest iFunBox) then delete them off the phone :-)

Is she using iCloud photos?

If so, Settings > iCloud > Photos.

Then if download and keep originals is checked, select optimise iPhone storage instead.

If it's not enabled, then do as above.
