Deleting/Moving Stuff in Vista

I hope somebody can help me with this problem:

With a few files on my computer that I have not accessed for a good few hours with any program Vista still tells me I cant delete/move them because they are in use by another program.

How can I get around this? Whats causing it?

Reboot and try it, don't open any programs though.

crtl + shift + esc and see if the program is running. end task, and then delete

Google a little app called Unlocker. I dunno if it works on Vista, but its fine on XP. It allows u to right click on a file and select Unlocker, which then shows you all the programs that are using that file, and allows you to either selectively stop individual items, or just completely unlock the file.
