I have a year old pc i got from pc world and i wont to delete some of the crap they put on but it says i dont have admin rights. their is only one user and it is set to admin, any ideas

What i've found with PCs like that, is that it's best to get a copy of the OS and do a complete reformat, and start with a clean slate.

Just make sure you get the correct copy for your licence key.

found it, it was tucked out of sight against the wall. does that mean i can download a copy from microsoft again for free?

Sounds like a program that finds the COA number if you've lost your sticker :)

Think that's magic bean or something like that.

I doubt it, you can either find someone who has a retail/oem copy of windows, your probably have to delete/modify the ei.cfg file and burn of a copy, or better yet, i'll send you an email now with some info, dunno if its allowed on the forum.

goto computer management in admin tools in control panel, click on users and computers and set the password for the administrator account to something else. You might be able to. Sometimes i have been able to set the password on the admin account. then log in with the admin account and add your other user account to the administrators group.
