Deleting search history windows

How do I delete the search history when searching for files in windows?

Like when I type the first letter, other previous search words come up?

ccleaner can do this, it is also a nice app to have to clear out a lot of other junk. It's free, do a google.

start-->run-->%userprofile%\recent

Delete all the items in the folder that opens.

EDIT: Sorry - didn't read that too well!! ignore me - that will do recent opened items!
