Deleting without reinstalling OS

Is there a program or something where I can delete all my personal stuff without reinstalling the OS? Or do i just stuff it in the trash can, can anyone get those files back?

Put it in the trash. Then from the finder menu at the top - choose the Secure Delete Trash option.

Create a new user and dump your entire home folder into the trash. This'll get rid of any stored passwords and what-not.

You'd still be better off just reinstalling, to be certain.

If you reboot from the Tiger DVD and select "Erase and Install" it will delete all of your data, and reinstall Tiger back to how it was when you got it

It won't zero-fill the hard drive, so it should only take 20mins to reformat.
