Delid 4770k and accidentally bent socket pins (works but USB not recognised?)

Hi guys,
This is my first post here, I have followed this forum for a long time but never really registered.
I took the courage to do my first delid on my not so new anymore CPU 4770K, which is still going strong, overclocked and I wanted to explore this delid world and learn more.
I did everything right, CPU is nicely delided and LM applied, stuff isolated with tape, etc.
Problem is, I accidentally hit a few socket pins with my finger, which bent a few, I tried to align then, not perfectly aligned, but close, although I can still see from far the bent ones someway/somehow different.

However, I gave it a go, PC booted up until the initial linux screen then went to a GNU console that is waiting for command input, however, all the USBs of my PC are not working.

I'm going to get proper tools to properly fix the pins, but is it possible for a bent pin to mess up the MB USB? Or could I have caused something else?

The good news is that it after CMOS clearing, it shows my memory and CPU details with correct numbers, so I assume the delid was successful, but I managed to screw up with that pin accident.

Any guidance or additional tips would be appreciated, mag glass and esd tweezers will arrive friday.

My mobo is Asrock Extreme4 Z87.

If your board only has ports that use the USB 2/3 controllers from the cpu and no 3rd party chipset for extra usb 3.0 (NEC, Asmedia, Etron etc..) then its quite likely the pins you hit are the pins that communicate with the on chip usb.
