Have overlocked my I7 4790K to 5ghz 1.35volt am looking on improving things a little more with and using LM and deliding can you tell me the best LM and adhesive for reconnecting the heatspreader ?
 
I'd personally not take it over 1.3 v.

Any liquid metal like cool laboratory liquid ultra will work well.

No need to relid just secure heatspreader to chip via motherboard clamp.
