Delidded i7 7700k overclocking

Greetings all so I am running an Intel i7 7700k on a Gigabyte GA-Z270X-Ultra.

Before Delidded I was managed to get stable on 4.8ghz on 1.26 voltage with the NZXT Kraken 62. I have yet to try to push it since delidding the cpu.

Just curious if anyone has any experience with a Delidded overclocking on a Gigabyte bios.

Delidded is the same on any board. Board makes no difference.

1.35-1.4v test multipliers for stability. 49,50,51 etc.... Same as always.

Different set up but with a combination of delidding and updating bios I was able to squeeze an extra 200 mhz out whilst lowering temp.
