Delidding Service?

Not that I'm aware of, there's probably a few users here with a good level of trust you could send your CPU to for delidding, doubt anyone would take responsiblity for it being broken in the process though.

It's always a risk on your behalf of wanting it delidded.

No as delidding invalidates the warranty.

So does over clocking the non K Skylakes but OCUK offers that as a service.... No reason they could not offer it with a "no warranty offered but tested working" however they would have to charge enough to cover time and the odd mistake i guess.

Best advice get the delidding tool its 99% safe with that.

As part of trading standards, they need to offer at least 12 months warranty. The warranty offerd by intel on this occasion would be invalidated and then OCuK would have to take on the responsibility. I can understand why they wouldn't do or offer this. Quite a lot of risk involved.

Just buy a delid tool no risk at all then. I did 30+ CPU now all working fine and crazy good temps.

I have 4.9 at 60C on AIO 240 running XTU or Non AVX Prime.

On a side not I delidded my i7 4770k when i bought it about 3 years ago. When i build my new system what options do i have for selling this cpu on??, i mean its been delidded can it be glued back together???

You could sell it on yes, but obviously you would have to state that it has been delidded and has no warranty. Which I suppose wont matter much as the original warranty will expire after 3 years. If the chip is a proven good clocking low voltage one it wouldn't put serious enthusiasts off.
