Deliding 3570k

I found that when i delidded my 4770k,the lid was able to spin on the die,which made me worry about crushing the die when i put the lid and cooler on,
so what i did was put 4 tiny pieces of electrical tape(very thin) on each corner of the pcb,so that the lid sits on those.(also stops it from sliding around as much)
Some might say that defeats the purpose of delidding but i still saw a 20 degree reduction in temps over all cores using clu ;)

well from what i seen all over forums anything different than liquid metal is waste of time and warranty :P
