Morning all,

I ordered some parts yesterday afternoon, I have just received a text and email advising they have been delivered, as requested, with my neighbour.

In recent years ocuk has had some interesting times with delivery companies, but I just wanted to say that the current arrangement with DPD, is truly fantastic.

Outstanding service, and free as I am a forum member. (Not to mention I saved an additional £30 as the item I bought was in the this week only.)

As a point of interest, I priced up the same items with a competitor, and, including postage, the bill was £40 more expensive, OCuK - take a bow.

:)

Citylink were a flippin' nightmare, so glad they got rid of them. I avoid any company that uses Citylink to be honest because they drove me to the edge of insanity on several occasions.

DPD are great. Funnily enough, my local Yodel driver is amazing as well although that seems like a rare thing to happen!

Not really related, but I wouldn't use Yodel either. They are hopeless.

Recently ordered some barstools from an internet shop and they sent them via Yodel, one of the boxes was totally wrecked and the small items inside were missing.

Had 3 delivery's from OcUK recently, 1 DPD and 2 Royal mail, All have arrive in record time and no problems at all!

Munching my Haribo :)

Had an attempt at delivery this morning by DPD O/C and the wife wasn't in by 10 minutes dropping kids at school. Got an email saying so and so booked to pick up the item from the depot tomorrow as I am working away from home today. OK not a problem.

1 hour later got another email saying my item had been delivered at my neighbours house.

Looks like our local DPD delivery driver re-visits later on in his round and tries again.

Fantastic service and thank you Daniel my DPD driver.

Yep. DPD are awesome for me, never had a problem. The same can be said for Parcel Force and the Royal Mail deliveries aren't too bad here.

But as other have said Yodel...

Ive never had a problem with any, even Citylink guess i`m lucky but i reckon it depends if your local drivers are idiots or not.

echo this.

DPD and RM for my area are the best easily. Order some screens and speakers sunday night, arrived tuesday and left with a neighbour instead of having to drive 30miles to a depot.

DPD brought an alloy wheel to me the day after I missed the delivery (was out). I didn't call them or anything, but they took it on themselves to try again just in case I was in. This was on a saturday too!

Top notch service.

I ordered a 700 quid Canon dSLR camera on wednesday with next day delivery (guaranteed Friday). It's saturday now. They've lost it. Told me to take it up with seller.

Shower of Ordure.

That's because they won't pay you in the event of a claim, or take instructions from you to do so, because they don't have a contract with you. Let the retailer replace the camera and it's their problem to sort it out with the courier.

And don't let them fob you off with:

"we have to wait for refund from courier before we can refund you"

As it could take weeks if not months.
If they go down that router just issue a chargeback on yer CC.
