Dell 17" ultrasharp 1707FP.... any good?

as title really. Always had a CRT so i have no idea what these monitors are like. Are they any good for gaming? CS etc...

well it's pretty average really, using an 8ms TN Film panel. Might be ok for general use, you could probably find something more well established though for a good price. eg Samsung 913N
