DELL 1720 or Acer Aspire 9920G

I am thinking about changing my Dell Inspiron 1720 for Acer Aspire 9920G

I see it has a HD DVD drive , i wonder if can be replace with BLU RAY place ?

What sort i games would run on Acer Aspire 9920G well

Acer tend to be high specced, but build quality and reliability aren't so good. Customer service isn't great apparently either. Google these topics before deciding to go ahead.

I prefer Toshiba, Samsung and Dell.
