Dell 1909w - thoughts?

Hi guys

Got a chance to buy a Dell Ultrasharp 19" for about 80 quid.. I've got two hannspree's running at the same res at the moment but i'm planning on replacing one with a 24" Benq or similar and it would be good to have another hdcp monitor.

Has anyone had any experience with this unit?

Not had any experience with it, but it looks like a fairly basic TN panel Dell. So it should have a good stand, good build quality, and OK viewing angles and image quality.

Is the £80 price for new or 2nd hand? If its second-hand is the seller offering you the original packaging and info on the original reseller (so you can make use of the warranty if required)?

Its new, 3 year warranty included. I was mainly attracted by the HDCP and the somewhat loosely accurate 'Ultrasharp' title, considering how much people rave about that particular Dell range on here.

Good screen for the money although limited by resolution I'm sure you're aware (1440 x 900)

I have deployed literally hundreds of these at work over the last 6 months and am yet to see any faults / failures what so ever.

The screen /stand feel solid - great build quality, big thumbs up for reliability
