What's the deal on the distressing lack of these? Any word when they'll be available again? Still waiting for mine and it's quite upsetting watching my old CRT slowly die without any sign of a replacement.

Yeah I know the feeling - I've got an old 2000FP (the one before) and was looking for a 1600x1200 display to match it.

I wonder if its being replaced/discontinued?? Most go for widescreens now - guess I might end up going that way myself.

the 2001 is an updated 20" screen with 1600x1200 res.

Supply & demand! Everyone knows they are one of the best 4:3 TFTs. Dell cannot cope with the demand.

Hoho result. Arrived today (24 hour turnaround) a shiny silver 2 tone 2001fp. Looks the business - quickly checked and no dead pixels that I can easily see.

Only problem is now it looks 2 small and neat next to my bruiser 2000FP. Damnit might have to buy a 2nd just for symetry

Mine wasn't from OCUK sorry didn't make that clear. I would say that availability seems to be 1-2 days for a dual tone (silver) one and 1-2 weeks for black ones so maybe thats why your having delays.
