Dell 2007 release date? Or buy a 2005?

Does anyone know anymore info on when Dell are going to release the 2007?

I really need to get a tft this month and I was hoping I'd have heard something on this monitor by now?

If it's not going to be released for ages would the 2005 be a good monitor to pick up with the discounts currently offered?

I'm even tempted to go for the 24" Dell but I can't decide if its worth the money?

Anyone got any advice they could offer me?
 
What you use your PC for?

If you're a gamer and you like running in native then one thing to bear in mind is the 24" Dell needs plenty of poke to run it at 1920x1200 smoothly. Your PC may be able to run the current crop of games nicely, but if the montor is a serious purchase and you are keeping it for some years, be prepeared to upgrade your PC to keep up with the demanding res.
 
It's a good point. It would mostly be used for work, ps, 3d apps etc.

I've got a 6800 gt which should be able to handle the 2005 well enough.

So does anyone know what the score is with the 2007 release date wise?
