So, here's the deal, any help would be greatly appreciated.

A non-techie friend got this panel with his PC. It broke, so he got a replacement without having to send this one back.

The problem is that the thing just won't turn on.

Now, I'm interested in trying to fix this one as he's said I can keep it if i can fix it. So, I've limited knowledge about monitors, what would be the best way to check this out? I've tried different leads so I'm assuming it's something up with internals of the monitor itself

Are there any common problems with this panel? Any useful websites? Thanks in advance :)
 
Mmm. You could try it on with dell and say your monitor is broke and give them the service number. They might send you a replacement lol!

lol! sounds like a plan to me..Dell have far too much money to be playing with if there replacing 27inchers without demanding the broke one back first.. :D
