Got one of these myself, a HUGE upgrade from the q17 I was running before, great colours (reduced contrast and brightness as recommended in the other thread before people moan at me for saying it's oversaturated out of the box) and I have no issues gaming with it, then again my games aren't that modern so it's hard to compare with the rest of the competition.

Awesome for gaming. Whips the pants off my samsung t220.

I settled on

contrast 75
brightness 25

for gaming

and

contrast 70
brightness 10

for pure colour reproduction,

Wow,I'm surprised by your comments regarding gaming with this monitor.Rma'd mine due to the response being miles behind a Samsung 226bw I have.Hated gaming with it.

The response time is very low...there was a recent review of it where it came up as a major plus. Also the input lag was incredible low. Probably just not quite as good as the 226bw though, but overall in a different leagues with the 2209wa being a lot better.
