I think you are automatically qualified for warranty and don't need to register it. This is what I've heard anyway. I'm not sure why anyone would want to register it then. I should have this monitor arriving so this is useful to know.
You don't need to register for it. When you come to make a warranty claim, Dell will ask for the service tag number found on the back of the monitor. From this they can look it up in a database and determine when it was purchased and as such will easily work out if the monitor is within warranty or not
