Dell 24", HC or non-HC?

I will be using it mainly for office/internet. Occasional gaming (nothing serious) and videos/TV.

I understand the non-HC one in the current revision is nigh-on perfect. Whereas the HC has some small amounts of ghosting but makes up for it for having stunning colours.

Is the difference really that noticable and is it worth paying the extra for the HC model?

I have a HC and I love it. I think the whole ghosting issue is blown well out of proportion as I have never seen any ghosting.

No problems in Photoshop, Internet, Movies and Gaming for me you really have to look for it to notice the ghosting and it only happens with a dark grey background but the colours on the HC are more vibrant compared to the normal 2407FWP. But tbh you won't be disappointed with the normal one either which I use in my office.

Aye i've got the non HC too and its the best piece of kit i have. Had it for 4 months now and i still love it.

I'd always play it safe and go for the non-HC

Bought one the other day, cancelled Dell order, brand new, boxed, dead pixel tested and fully guaranteed. They are still out there.

Ahh well, i've looked pretty much everywhere i know and they are all out of order or not returning back to stock. I'll have another look today, if i can't find one i'll just order the HC version.

I love my HC, glad I got it. The colour reproduction is brilliant.

Yeah I got my HC off the bay for £380 last week, just make sure you use an extremely reputable seller. Non HCs are also on there.

Ive had zero ghosting issues also

How much did that come to in total with paypal fees ontop?

Id never buy a pc part off the bay. To many risks and i like knew things, some people are willing to buy things second hand just to save like 10 quid. Id rather spend it and get somethnig new, even if its more like 100 quid

The prices on there for the HCs are not that good. Can be had cheaper.

None at all, been watching 1080p movies, playing some games at 1920x1200 and a lot of work use, this monitor is amazing, it's better than the Formac 2010 I had before for colour reproduction.
