Dell 2405FPW - Too bright!

I'm using one of these monitors on the DVI port, and it does seem too bright even with the Brightness set to 0.

Is there anything I can do to make it darker? My 19" samsung allowed me to reduce the contrast also, even with DVI, not so with the Dell!

I've just looked in the Nvidia settings control panel, and set the brightness and contrast to 0% instead of 50%, and it looks darker, thanks.
