dell 2405fwp making a strange noise?

I've noticed that occassionally my monitor is making an odd sparking type noise from the left hand side of the screen. It's not really loud but, you can hear it. The monitor is still working fine, is this the problem that some people had with capacitors in the monitor a while back ?

isn't that where the power cable goes into the monitor?
I had the same noise coming from my tagan 580w PSU when I first got it, wobbling the power cable adjusted how it sounded, just got a different power cable and it was fine, I am now using my Tagan power cable on my Dell 2005 and not getting the noise..

I've had that sparking noise on my enermax psu too (if I'm thinking it's the same noise) - It seems to come about from the power cable not being fully pushed in.
Not sure if that helps..

yeah thats what I was getting, though it was fully pushed in, a different power cable sorted it though.

old bump, but I'm getting abit of noise from the bottom left hand side of the TFT, any ideas?
