Dell 2407 ... DVI and 1:1 pixel mapping

Just while on the subject of 2407, could anyone do a quick picture of PIP / PBP? Do you have control of where it is placed on screen and what size? :)

I'm soooo tempted to order a nice shiny Dell 2407, currently got a 17" Hercules ProphetView 920 Pro (Had it for 4 years , still a lovely monitor though :))

Afaik, you cannot change the aspect/1:1/Fill settings when using DVI. Mine are greyed out too.

So to confirm this , a 2407 using DVI + 1:1 = no go

That sucks a bit :-(

When I use VGA connector I get problems with screen tearing when watching Video files .. does anyone else get this
Playback at 1920 x 1200 of standard divx's

Its a bit of a ****** having to change inputs depending on what I am wanting to watch VGA for gaming , DVI for desktop / video playback

Its still within 28 Days warranty , is it worth getting a refund and buying something different ?
And if so what are the other 24" alternatives like ?

Did you not read the other posts in this thread?

The 1:1 problem is with nVidia 97.* XP drivers and 8800 cards, not the monitor.
