My current monitor is an LG 23EA63, which is fine for a sub £100 IPS with HDMI DVI-D and audio in..........No complaints about picture quality. Gaming lag is not an issue because I don`t do gaming.
Mostly photo stuff and watching movies......
Although not very old, maybe 15 months, the LG is gradually failing..... first audio... no problem use the PC audio.............now the touch control panel is packing up.........Main concern is the input selection dying......Touch that button and just a black screen, so whatever it is set on now is what It stays on.......The other options have some functions not working either and I think this is just going to get worse......Plus the annoying dim and brighten cycle that is incurable.
So I have been looking for a new screen Very budget sensitive lets say.......so the cheap end. But 23" minimum or 24".
Have shortlisted a few such as Benq GL2450, AOC i2369VM etc.
But have just been offered FOC a Dell from 2006, excellent condition and works perfectly.............It does not have HDMI but I can happily live without that, plenty of other connection options, and just wondered if anyone here has experience of the model.........Dell 24" 2405 but a chance it could be 2407.....will know in a day or soo.
