How it is showing on the catalyst control panel if you can't see anything?

On my 2408 WFP when I pres the source button I get an icon of the connector type plus text (eg DVI-D1, DVI-D2- DisplayPort etc.) on a blue background and then once I stop pressing it flashes blue a few times as it attempts to sync before showing either the screen or if nowt is connected blackness.

Do you see this?

the x2 graphics card has 2 dvi out so im looking at the control panel from there.

i get nothing when i press the source button, also doesnt work in "self test mode" when everything is disconnected other than power

Do you get anything when you press the menu button (3rd from the left)?

Not sure how you do a factory reset on this monitor, I know it is a bit unlikely, but is it possible brightness/contrast/ rgb etc. are all set to 0?

i get nothing at all from any button, plugged into comp or not... pretty sure its just ****ed

guess i just have to send it back to overclockers, hope they can send out a new one... soooo annoyed, you would think that dell would test £400+ monitors

Yep sounds ****ed. Still, on the bright side, when you get a working one you'll be impressed. Viewing angles are superb and once you tone down the colours a bit I'm sure you'll enjoy it!!
