Dell 240WFP - change outputs with hot keys

I have a Dell 2407WFP and have two PCs plugged into it using the DVI and AVG connections.

To "switch screen" I currently have to press the button on the front of the monitor to cycle between DVI, VGA, S-Video etc.

I want to be able to do this bu assigning a hot key - say Alt 1 or Alt 2, rather than having to press the button on the monitor.

Does anyone know if this is possible to do?

Pretty certain you cant control a monitor with an os.

Sorry mis-read your post - more hurry less speed - though it said can, not can't.

Oh well - no worries, would have just need nice to have been able to do. Thanks for the replies.
