Hi
So i'm really considering a 2707 for my new monitor. However I want to connect both my PC and XBox 360. Now I hear that to get 1080p I can only use DVI so i'll have to connect my Xbox to it via a HDMI to DVI cable. That leaves analogue to connect my PC. Will the PC display ok using analogue on the 2707? or should it really be on DVI for resolution of the monitor?
BTW I only have a lowly X800pro card at the moment, but am upgrading to an 8800GTX soon.
I believe the 2407 is the same input wise. Has anyone done a comparison with the Xbox on DVI and Analogue?. I have a original Xbox VGA cable which I'm using on my 19" CRT and it looks amazing. What resolution will the VGA cable get me on the 2707? only 1080i? if so, whats the difference between 1080p and 1080i?
