Hi,

I have a Dell 3007 WFPHC which is currently connected to my PC.

I have recently bought a new Mac Mini, and would like to connect this to the monitor too.

As the monitor only has one input I think I will need some kind of DVi-switch box. I've had a look into this and many of those on sale are not dual-link and so cannot be used with monitors which have resolutions of 2560 x 1600.

Does anybody have a Dell 3007 with a DVi switch box that works well that they could recommend please?

Thanks in advance,

Hussman

There are DVI switchers out there that do 2560 x 1600, but most are very expensive at around £200+.

The cheapest one I could find is the Belkin 2 Port OmniView KVM Switch with Audio - F1DD102LEA. One is on eBay at the moment for £85.95 which you could make a lower offer on (Item 260717225146). These are by no means perfect but should support the resolution required and do what you need. Obviously I'm going on the description info but if it doesn't work you could always return it under the DSRs and only lose the return postage.

Worth a shot anyways.
