Dell 3007WFP-HC Colours?

Howdy,

I made a post a little way down about this TFT, well I bought one and am using it now. When I got it I was aware the Dell (for some reason) removed all the OSD controls on the front, you only have brightness and you had to use the dell control panel from your PC... but this was only suppose to work on Dell PCs?

Well for me the colour is too saturated, and it just doesn't look right for me? Has anyone with this tft found a way around getting into this OSD? My nvidia control panel only allows me to control the brightness, contrast and gamma.. thats it? I want to change the colour temperature if poss?

I suppose I'll get use to it, but its don't look as nice as my 2407? And I don't want to go back to that monitor as I have just bought this one

Don't matter too much now, im use to it already The colours are nice and strong, and look much more accurate than my 2407... but they where so much more vibrant it was hard to adjust, but im there now.

Whites a slightly off as mentioned to me on a previous post by AMDPower, but apart from that is a beaut!

Still, if anyone does know a way round this stupid dell pc only rubbish that would be cool!

yeah i did warn you about the whites being off, but if its not severe you get used to it. Colours are very nice but i believe overall the samsung is better.



you should be able to change specific colours in the nvida control panel.

unfortunately i only ever manage to change the colour temperature only when playing movies via the nvida control panel, but you will have to revert back from the classic view.

The colours are nice and strong, and look much more accurate than my 2407

if you want even more strong colours, turn up digital vibrance a notch.
