Dell 3007WFP issues...

I've just built a new rig, including an XFX Radeon HD 6970 and I'm having trouble getting it to output anything aside from a black screen on my 3007WFP.

I've made sure the cable is in the dual link DVI slot, double checked both DVI slots with a single link cable in a 19" 1440x900 monitor and both are working fine when used with a single link cable.

When the monitor is disconnected it scrolls through assorted colours/brightnesses, but as soon as it's connected it fails to display anything.

Has anyone else encountered this problem? Or am I potentially looking at a faulty card or monitor?

Does it boot into windows (useing sound as a way to know)?

My 30" hazro doesnt display post information so i use a small 10" lcd to show me my bios and stuff... Also if i install windows i have to use my 10"

The only response is the power LED flicking from the Standby Orange to Blue, and back.

I've had it open using the 19" as my primary monitor and gone through all of the settings in the Catalyst Control Center and as far as I can tell the monitor *should* be working, aside from the lack of a picture!
