Im sure someone posted a link to the specs etc of it. I think its was 1st quarter 2008.
Sort of annoyed cos I've got a 3007 (extra connectivity is very nice) but you can't keep waiting otherwise we would all be using stone, hammers & chisels.
This was on the 3008 thread - tis found on the search
Yep, I also found that via the search, but couldn't see a release date mentioned (other than the mention of first quarter 08). Haven't been able to find anything more specific though.
Specs do look impressive, but as you say it's whether to play the waiting game or just go for the 3007 now.
I`m planning on saving up around about £800, possibly could save a little bit more, for a quality pc screen , and should have this much around about march/april next year. You think this screen could possibly be out by then?
Man it sounds great...I wonder how well the scalability works because surely graphics cards will have a hard time running anything slightly taxing at 2500x1600 res!
I use a 24" Dell widescreen and am wondering if going up to a 30" is to big/overkill? Do you have to sit further back from it? Trying to imagine what it would be like sitting/gaming/watching movies in front of one as I sit here...
Im still wondering why they released the 3007 with such a basic connector config. Wouldn't have been hard to put what was in the 2407 into the 3007..but for whatever reason they really crippled it in terms of inputs.
