Basically I want to get the Alienware TactX Keyboard and Mouse, maybe the Monitor and would like to know if the AlienFX software will work on a non-Alienware PC. This AlienFX allows the colour customization of the hardware.

Has anyone done this or does anyone know the answer?

For starters you shouldn't link to that website. They are a competitor. Secondly if it software based you should be able to just install the programme and if it is hardware based what does it matter.

I bought that keyboard from OCUK last year & am still using it. £80 so expensive & the quality is not the best as some keys had chipped paint when I opened the sealed factory bag so QA is quite poor.

I have an Alienware PC & had to mess around as it did not like the AlienFX case lights as there are several different revisions.

The AlienFX software checks for Alienware Bios & AlienFX Case lighting so not sure it will work without you need to ask whoever is selling. OCUK do not appear to sell anymore wonder if that is because the quality is not great & software issues (the keyboard will be worthless without the AlienFX software as you need that to control the colour scheme).

Firstly thanks for the pointless answer, Secondly Overclockers don't sell Alienware so it's fine to post a URL.
