Dell Axim 50V and TomTom

I have a Dell 50V, with Tom-Tom 5.x .... Thinking about updating it to TT 6, to get some newer maps..... Anyone know if the this older PDA will run the latest TT software ?
Website only quotes the 51V

Sorry this post is not going to answer your question but I have to ask you something about your 50V. I got one of these off ebay a while back and I simply cannot get the wifi to work on it. Bluetooth works ok but wifi seems fubar. When I try to enable wifi on it, it doesn't seem to want to load the relevant drivers. Updated to latest firmware etc. Did or do you have any issues with wifi on yours?

Was some time ago I got it, don't remember having an issue, it finds networks OK, and I can surf and mail on it. Plus use it to control my Hi-Fi !!!

I'm running TT version 6.010 perfectly happily on my Dell x50v.

Excellent thanks, I will upgrade, as I want newer Eastern Europe maps around Slovakia and Poland etc......... Time I bought an update from my trial version of 5.x

The trouble with Tomtom (and other mapping software) is there is no guarantee that roads will still be there in the new version! Having said that, I'm pleased I made that upgrade.
