Doesn't seem to tell you what comes in the box.

Anyone who bought from OC can you please tell me what it comes with?

Also if anyone who owns one can tell mw if they managed to get it working with Tomtom 5 and CF sirf III antenna?

In the box;

Dell Axim x51v PDA
Wall plug
Cradle
Charging Adapter
Battery
Protective case
Windows 2003 CD

--------------------------------------

I have TOMTOM 5 installed and runs fine. Connected via a Bluetooth GPS receiver.

Thanks iain much appreciated.Now all i need is for someone with Tomtom 5 and CF sirf III antenna?

You will need to have TomTom 5.21 to ensure it works with the Axim x51v.
Lock times are fantastic on sirf iii (used to have sirf ii on an ipaq).
I have the holux GPSlim 236 tiny and fast.

Some peeps have recorded locks while flying abroad and tracking their progress on world maps.

I have this setup too and it works great.

You will need a car charger to of course.

I have it working with tomtom 5 but not the sirf antenna, i am just using a clone bluetooth antenna which is brilliant.

Correct about windows Mobile 5 not 2003 as well, although windows mobile 2003 is slightly faster an application.

I thought that it was... I thought that the GPS unit was actually built in... thats what my Dell Account Manager has told me anyway...

Is this just for the pda or do you need to have the bluetooth gps plugged in too? Also with the holux GPSlim 236 does it come with some sort of charger for in the house or can it only be charged in the car?

Thanks for the info...

I did see this shown on OC page so had an idea

The gps has to be plugged in if its bluetooth at least.

What is the point of it being bluetooth when it has to be plugged in> I might aswell go for the wired option. :(

I have jest been quoted for a bluetooth GPS unit that does not require to be plugged in

I have a Bluetooth GPS reciever that is pretty small and has to be recharged but the charge lasts ages, I have used it for an 8 hour trip and it still did not run out. Although the PDA needed to be plugged in.

@Stelly
How much and what is it?

@Colbaker
I don't mind the pda having to be plugged in.What is the longest you have got from it on a full vharge?

@Energize
Why isn't there much point in bluetooth in cars? I don't want to have wires all over the car and i just want to be able to goto the car put the pda in and away.

Because its just 1 wire, seems pointless spending more on bluetooth when they are going to be sitting next to each other.
