Dell D630 sata or ide ?

Hi There can anyone tell me if the Dell D630 Latitude DVD-RW is either SATA or IDE ? as i was wondering if i can upgrade it to a Blu Ray dvd player but i know these are SATA types ? :confused:

Probably best to google the model number that is showing in device manager.

If you have the laptop you can just pop the drive out. There is a small push lever that then clicks out (the bottom of the drive facia), give the drive an gentle tug and it'll slide out. If that makes sense

They are IDE iirc, maybe a Dell propriety connector though

It probably got a different interface on the caddy that the drive slots into but the drive will be a standard ide or sata.
