dell dimension case re-use?

hi all, i have a dell dimension 9150 (p4 3ghz etc) that is a bit tierd and id like to know if i can change some bits over such as a spare asus p5k board in the same case? its a ok case to look at so i would rather re-use it than scrap it or whatever.

i guess i will need a new standard power supply?

can anyone offer any advice on doing this?

Is that the XPS? If so, it is similar to the one i have which is a BTX case.
If that is the one you are talking about.

As mentioned it depends on the form factor, if you open it up to discover a directed fan over a lump of plastic covering a heatsink, its BTX and useless.

Even on the some of the ATX cases they have the io plate integrated into the chassis as I found out to my dismay so you can't change the mobo without hacking the case about with a dremel..

i found this out the hard way, for a while i had the on/off, reset button just sitting outside a different case, untill i took a whole dell case home from work. so annoying Dell are
