Has anyone seen these running side by side?

Do you have either? what do you think?

Any feedback would be appreciated?

Haven't seen both running side by side but you can make some comparisons from the technology used. The E207WFP has a TN+Film panel so you'll get 18 bit colour + dithering and limited viewing angles. The 2007WFP has an IPS panel so you get 24 bit colour and excellent viewing angles, but of course you pay more for it.

The other differences are the extra inputs on the 2007WFP (although you'll rarely use them) and it also has a more flexible stand with height adjust and pivot (meaning you can rotate it vertically). And they're both quick enough for fast gaming.

Of all those differences the only significant one IMO is the viewing angles, the rest aren't important. So it's just viewing angles versus price.

Just what i wanted to know too, is the 2007WFP worth the extra money for gaming/movies etc as its only got 16ms timing, can anyone with one say.

Dell rate their pannels very conservitivly(sp) its closer to an 8ms pannel when compaired to other brands

I been looking at a review and it shows the viewing angles goto say its pretty impressive at any angle the views spot on.

Do fancy one of these great viewing angles but as i just answered in another forum, i am a bit worried of the gamble it seems to get the S-IPS panel, don't fancy dishing so much out and be stuck with the inferior panel so may have to look else where.

btw don't matter how high you hold the cam on the one shot you wont' see down her top ;)
