Dell E248WFP 24 inch question (stand/base)

Hi everyone

I'm in the market to get a new 24inch to complement my 2407WFP-HC that I already have. I know the 2408WFP is out, but I don't think I can justify having £200 difference between the two monitors.

So I'm thinking the E248WFP (TN panel). What do you guys think? Will it complement my current screen? I'm going to be using the second monitor mostly for watching movies/media player etc as well as extra desktop real estate.

Also, Is the base/stand for the E248 the same as the 240* screens? from the pictures it looks similar

p.s. does it have 1:1 mapping?

It's the same in looks only, no rotate or height adjustment.

the E-series are budget monitors. i dont think any of them have rotate or height adjust. also its in a different (worse) league to the 2407 screens.
