This is a question regarding my old 17" CRT
Basically I'm using this purely for the sake of playing CS1.6 @ 120hz @ 640x480
HOWEVER, since swapping out the graphics card in the computer attached to this from an ATI HD4870 to a Geforce 8800GS 384mb it REFUSES to allow the monitor to refresh anything over 85hz.
Is this something to do with the latest forceware drivers? Why can ATI get me upto 120hz using this monitor but NVIDIA won't allow me to go over 85hz?
I've tried all different types of drivers and none of them make any difference what so ever. This machine is running Windows 7 Beta.
For any of you who know what i'm talking about i have turned vsync OFF and am running the -freq 100 command in counterstrike launch options
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated
