bought one of these recently, just wondering why i havent heard much (if anything) about it on here? Even doing a search on tinternet doesnt throw up much in terms of reviews/opinions...

Any ideas why?

Looks like an interesting screen, is the LED backlight nice?

It is a bit strange that there are not many reviews out for it as the LED backlight is a pretty big departure from the norm. I guess maybe the TN panel scared off the reviewers.

I was considering getting a g2410 for my sister a few months ago, ended up going for this.

i was so close to getting the 2408 but ultimately decided i wanted hi def and a larger screen, and i think this offers the best bang for buck. I considered a couple of other dells too, but this offered the led backlight ( no backlight bleed whatsoever, pretty even across the screen) and wide gamut colours. It still has the colour/viewing angle problems of a tn panel but who in their right mind looks at it with their eyes in line with the bottom of the frame anyway lol.

Its got a nice solid feeling to it and offers pretty good quality so im happy.
